So, what is the difference between a booking enquiry and a booking request?
A booking enquiry occurs when a hirer starts his/her journey with an owner via pressing the yellow 'Talk to the Owner' button on the owner's RV profile located at the lower right-hand side corner of the listing page.
This creates a booking enquiry with the owner.
Please note: a booking enquiry can not be used to make a booking. Its purpose is only to have a conversation with the owner and ask any necessary questions.
To create a booking, the 'booking enquiry' needs to be turned into a 'booking request' via the button the hirer can see called 'Create Booking Request'. Once this is clicked, the booking can now progress to approval from the owner and, upon approval, payment by the hirer is completed.
Please note: Whether you are creating a booking enquiry or request, you will need to have a Camplify account. This ensures that you and the owner have a platform to communicate i.e via the comments section of your dashboard.
